If you’re someone who struggles to find skincare suited to sensitive skin, then look no further than SOS Serum Skincare.

The premise of the range is to deliver skincare for everyone – including those with the most sensitive skin. SOS Serum Skincare was originally founded by chartered scientist and chemist Bruce Green and the first product they launched was the infamous SOS Serum.

One of the many things I like about this range is that it appears they try to keep the ingredients list as small as possible – which is exactly what you want when shopping for a skincare range aimed at those with sensitive skin.

SOS SERUM

What is it?

A serum designed to soothe and moisturise problem skin.

Targets

Dry, Itchy, Sensitive, Skin

What do I think?

Anyone and everyone can use this. Although this is aimed at those who suffer with upset, sensitised skin, anyone could benefit from using this. First and foremost, it’s very hydrating so it can be used as a hydrating serum or maybe a moisturiser if you find it’s enough for you.

It’s excellent at reducing itchiness too, so I have been popping it on mosquito bites throughout the summer to soothe the bit and stop the itching. Those with eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis may also find it helps soothe these conditions, since this is exactly what it was made for.

It feels super cooling on the skin too and I like to use this alongside a potent retinoid or acid to prevent irritation.

How to use

Apply a small amount to the affected area, or if you’re like me, all over the face.

Price

£5.00 for 15ml
£16.00 for 50ml
£35.00 for 200ml

SOS CLEANSE

What is it?

A gentle, soothing gel/cream cleanser for easy makeup, sunscreen and dirt removal.

Targets

Dry, Itchy, Sensitive, Skin

What do I think?

Again, this is another one of their products that anyone can use.

It’s designed to be as gentle as possible when cleansing. I personally find it really nourishing and hydrating on the skin. It hasn’t ever left my skin feeling stripped or dry post-cleanse.

I find it’s a great option when you’re feeling sensitive – it doesn’t sting or irritate the skin.

The gel-texture melts and almost feeling slightly oily when massaged in, but it rinses away quickly without leaving a residue.

How to use

Apply to dry skin and gently massage. Rinse with warm water.

Price

£5.00 for 15ml
£16.00 for 50ml
£35.00 for 200ml

SOS SPF50 SUN CREAM

What is it?

It’s a broad spectrum non-greasy, moisturising, delicious sunscreen that’s quick to absorb while offering UVA and UVB protection.

Targets

Sun damage prevention, well-ageing, skins prone to sensitivity when using sunscreens.

What do I think?

This is hands-down my favourite product from the range. I’ve posted a full review of this before, so I won’t go into too much detail here. It leaves absolutely no white cast upon application and isn’t chalky, which is a miracle considering its mineral based.

The finish on the skin is really nice – not a greasy finish but not a matte finish either. It’s very moisturising too, so if you’re normal-to-oily, this may easily replace the need for moisturiser.

How to use

Apply after serums.

Price

£5.50 for 15ml
£17.00 for 50ml
£38.00 for 200ml
