Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray for Sensitive Skin

Avène is a French pharmacy brand with a wide range of products suited for all skin types, but they predominantly cater for those with sensitive skin. One of their most popular products is the Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray.

What is it? 🤔

Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray is a thermal water spray that aims to calm, soothe and hydrate sensitive skin.  It’s a multi use product that can be used as a facial mist or even for things such as sunburn and nappy rash.

Key Ingredients 🧪

Avene Thermal Spring Water (Avene Aqua)

What do I think? 👨🏻‍⚖️

There’s no doubt this is a hydrating spray. I used this after cleansing and before serums.  Applying your serums to damp skin helps with penetration, and this product is extremely well suited to help with this.  The spray on this is super light, so no huge squirts of water in your face will happen which can be the case with some sprays. It would be nice to have around in the summer if you want to cool your face down.

Would I recommend? 👎👍

This isn’t really an essential product in my eyes, it’s nice to have and to use, but there aren’t any huge benefits to using it aside from the hydration it provides.  If you have a toner already, or another mist, you don’t need this.  That being said, if your skin is currently sensitive or sore, this may be a nice product to have in your arsenal as there are no harmful or irritating ingredients in it.

Price 💸

£8.50 / 150ml.  Cheap. Not much more to say.

Stock image used because I'm useless and forgot to take one 🤦🏻‍♂️
