B Multi Acid Retexturising Facial Pads Review

Superdrug B. Mutli Acid Retexturising Pads

I got these as part of the Nadine Baggott X Superdrug Complete Skincare Edit. The Superdrug B Multi Acid Retexturising Facial Pads are budget-friendly and easy to slot into your routine.

What is it?

Cotton pads saturated in glycolic acid to exfoliate dead skin cells and provide the skin with a glow.

What Do I Think?

I really feel if you’re on a budget you can’t go wrong with Superdrug’s own range of skincare.

These are super easy and convenient to use. The cotton pads are pre-soaked with Fruit Acids and Glycolic Acid to help remove the outer layer of dead skin cells, revealing smoother, brighter, and more even-toned skin. They have added Aloe, to soothe and hydrate the skin, minimising any irritation. The pads are a good size – not too big, not too small.

I don’t feel these are the strongest exfoliating pads I’ve used, but I quite like the fact that they are gentler than some others on the market. Sometimes it’s just best not to go in all guns blazing. You will certainly see a smoother skin tone and a brightening effect whilst using them.

I think these are good for you if your skin is a little dull and needs a little bit of brightening. I’m not sure that they would be good enough if you had really troublesome pigmentation. I had a few spots that left a mark and these did little to shift them.

The only (very small) issue I had with these is that sometimes the ‘juice’ settles to the bottoms, thus the pads at the top feel a little dry. This can be resolved by turning it upside down for a couple of hours to allow the ‘juice’ to wet the pads at the top.

You could also use these on your body. In the summer my elbows get a little dry, and these are great for just shifting the dead skin cells of my elbow.
