The Jordan Samuel Skin Hydrate Facial Serum is one of my favourite hydrating serums of all time. If you haven’t tried any of his products, you absolutely must. The brand has a generous amount of products, and everything I’ve tried so far has worked so well and been a total pleasure to use.
What is it?
The Hydrate Facial Serum is (unsurprisingly) a hydrating serum which will help quench the thirst of all skin types.
What Do I Think?
To give you that plump, hydrated skin, they have formulated this serum with Sodium Hyaluronate which is a humectant that acts a bit like a moisture magnet – holding water into the skin. The formula also contains Tamarind Extract — which helps with hydration and skin smoothness. Aloe Leaf Extract also plays its part, soothing and calming the skin.
The texture is a thin, runny gel that immediately drenches the skin with hydration. The hydration really lasts the whole day too, so it’s a great choice for people like me who suffer from dry and dehydrated skin. It also find it has a mild plumping and smoothing effect on the skin.
I really like that this is not too sticky once applied and absorbed, and that it layers extremely well with a manner of different products. It’s one of those products that always works well in your routine. There’s no stinging if you use it when you’re feeling sensitive, you can use it winter and summer thanks to the glorious texture.
It’s also fragrance free, so a good choice if you cannot tolerate fragrance in your routine.
