Oskia Renaissance Mask Review

Oskia Renaissance Mask

This is another Oskia product I have been loving recently.  The Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel gets a lot of love , but have you tried the Oskia Renaissance Mask? It’s beautiful.  I love it for a little Sunday morning facial.

What is it?

The Oskia Renaissance Mask promises to increase skin radiance, plump the skin, minimise fine lines and wrinkles and enhance skin cell turnover.  I think we can check all of those – it certainly delivers what it promises.

What Do I Think?

This is an exfolianting mask at its core. It has a blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acids ranging from Lactic Acid to fruit acids sourced from passion fruit, grape, lemon and pineapple all helping to gently exfoliate dead skin cells and soften the skin. Papaya enzymes also help remove dead skin cells, cleansing the skin and unclogging pores.  To assist in the magic of revealing radiant skin, they’ve also formulated this with Ribose for revitalisation and illumination, Swiss Garden Cress Liposomes for balancing and reducing melanin production and Prebiotic Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide for prebiotic support.  Of course, Oskia also includes MSM to help promote skin health.

To use it, you simply have to apply the pink gel to clean skin. (Note: the mask is definitely pink – my camera was a little over-exposed so it looks orange in the photos 🙈) You need to massage this in thoroughly, and once you start working it into the skin, it turns into a lovely white cream. You then leave it on for 10 – 20 minutes before emulsifying with water and massaging a little more, then rinsing it away.

The results are fantastic! Once the mask is removed, you are left with baby-soft, spectacularly smooth skin which and beautifully brightened.  Pores look minimised, and your skin feels incredibly nourished and hydrated. Another thing to be said is that it’s super gentle too. There isn’t any tingling to be experienced, but you know it’s worked well once the mask is removed.

I love this for a little pamper session. The scent of rose, passion fruit and chamomile really helps add to the experience, making you feel like you’re having a little spa day in your own bathroom.

It’s definitely going to be one that I purchase the full-size of.

Would I Recommend?

Absolutely. It’s a lovely mask to use when you have a bit of downtime. I love the fact that being a mask you can customise the time in which you leave it on for.
