I’ve been seriously impressed with the Dr Sam Bunting products I’ve been trying over the past couple of months. The Dr Sam Flawless Neutralising Gel is no exception.
What is it?
Dr Sam Flawless Neutralising Gel is a blemish-busting treatment designed to calm and banish blemishes, blackheads and dark marks whilst respecting your skin barrier.
What Do I Think?
They’ve cleverly formulated this with all the ingredients you could want to promote a clear complexion. Azelaic Acid helps reduce redness and pigmentation whilst also unclogging pores. Salicylic Acid is anti-bacterial and calms inflammation and exfoliates dead skin cells. Meanwhile Bakuichol helps reduce signs of ageing and Squalane hydrates.
You can use this two ways; you can use this like a traditional serum and apply all over your face if you get spots all over, or you can use it as a targeted treatment applying only to areas where you suffer from breakouts.
It’s hands-down one of the best spot treatments I’ve ever used. Depending on the size, I find when I use this the spot is gone within a couple of days and signs the spot was ever there are minimal. What I really like most is how effective it is at reducing redness. Half the battle with spots is the redness that come with it, but this gets rid of it quite quickly.
I also found that it didn’t dry the area out either. I was able to use it continually on a big spot for a few days and I never got that dryness you sometimes get from spot treatments. I’ll totally be buying it when this one runs out because I think it works extremely well.
