Geek & Gorgeous Liquid Hydration Toner Review

I am obsessed with Geek and Gorgeous at the moment. I’ve been slowly exploring the range and have been so impressed with everything I’ve tried that I feel all their products need their own dedicated review. I’ve nearly emptied the Geek & Gorgeous Liquid Hydration Toner, so it’s time for a review.

What is it?

Geek & Gorgeous Liquid Hydration is a hydrating toner or mist that can be added to your routine to provide a drink of water to thirsty skin.

What Do I Think?

From the offset, this has some incredible ingredients I like in a hydrating toner or mist. It has 5% Panthenol which is a soothing, hydrating, barrier boosting ingredient. You also have Natural Moisturising Factors in the form of Amino acids, Urea, PCA, sodium PCA, Lactic Acid and Diglycerin to keep the skin feeling hydrated. Although there’s Lactic Acid in the formula, this isn’t an exfoliating toner – it’s all about hydration. Finally, there’s Allantoin which is another soothing ingredient.

The formulation makes for a wonderful mist when your skin barrier is impaired, or even if you just want to drench your skin in beautiful hydration. I’ve been using this religiously since I got it. I love it as a toner to prep my skin for serums and as a top-up hydrator throughout the day.

It immediately relieves dry, tight skin and feels refreshing on the skin post-cleanse.

The mist action is really nice – not too heavy or hose-like. I’d say it strikes the right chord for the amount of mist action I like from a spray bottle. This used to be in a non-mist bottle, but they changed it due to people asking for it to be in a spray bottle. I love it when brands listen to their customers.
