Revolution Pro Miracle Cream Review

Revolution Pro Miracle Cream

This was another supermarket purchase. I’m a marketers dream so when I saw the words “Miracle Cream” on the packaging of this Revolution Pro moisturiser, I snapped it up. 😂

What is it?

Revolution Pro Miracle Cream is a hydrating and nourishing moisturiser designed to plump, hydrate and re-energise the skin to provide a perfect base for makeup.

What Do I Think?

I had heard the Revolution Pro Miracle Cream is a ‘dupe’ for the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, which I’ve used before and loved. The idea of this moisturiser is to give you that perfect base for makeup application. I don’t wear makeup, so I can’t speak for its ability as a makeup base, but as a stand-alone moisturiser, it’s nice.

On the ingredients front, they’ve formulated this with Hyaluronic Acid which helps draw moisture into the skin, Niacinamide for brightening and balancing out skin tone. There’s also an offering of peptides for that anti-ageing boost thanks to their ability to stimulate collagen. And Vitamin C is another skin brightener with antioxidant benefits.

I find the texture lighter than the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, but it’s still got quite a thick texture. It gives an immediate flattering glow and smoothness on the skin, leaving it feeling nourished and plump. I find the Revolution Pro Miracle Cream doesn’t absorb as well as the Charlotte Tilbury. I felt the Charlotte Tilbury sank into my skin better, whereas the Revolution leaves a little bit of a ‘film’ like feeling on the skin.

It has a really nice, sweet, rose-like scent to it, which I happen to quite like.

This would be a nice moisturiser for those of you who want a primer/moisturiser in one. I wouldn’t say the Revolution Pro Miracle Cream is a direct dupe of the Charlotte Tilbury. I feel it’s more ‘inspired by’ than a direct dupe. It’ll give you a similar experience, but its not really the same texture wise. I prefer the texture of the Charlotte Tilbury, but would happily use this if I had budget concerns or wanted to spend my money elsewhere.
