New from Face Theory

FaceTheory

Face Theory launched some interesting new products this summer and I’ve been slowly incorporating them into my routines. I really like the Face Theory products because they’re relatively affordable, and you often get multi-functional formulas with some fantastic ingredients.

There latest launches focus on the power of peptides. I love peptides. I use them in every single routine, whether that be via a serum or a moisturiser.

Peptides are the fundamental building blocks of your skin. They are essentially particles of protein (such as collagen, elastin and keratin) that are named amino acid chains. If you broke these chains of amino acids down, eventually you would be left with short chains of amino acids called peptides.

When you apply peptides topically to the skin, they act as messengers to the skin cells and trigger skin cells to build elastin and collagen. This in turn makes the skin look and act younger. However, this takes time to do, hence why it is not an overnight miracle.

Some of the new launches from Face Theory include:-

S8 Pro Polypep Collagen Boosting Serum

This is a peptide-based serum designed to fight signs of ageing by stimulating collagen production and gently exfoliating. It’s extremely hydrating on the skin, gives a little plumping action and over time it’ll help with those pesky fine lines and wrinkles.

Targets
Fine Lines & Wrinkles, Lack of Firmness, Dehydration/Dryness.

What’s in it?
