The Inkey List Polyglutamic Acid Dewy Sunscreen SPF30 is a super popular sunscreen on social media at the moment. What else can you expect when The Inkey List release a sunscreen?

What is it?

The Inkey List Polyglutamic Acid Dewy Sunscreen offers SPF30 protection against UVA & UVB rays. It also acts as a moisturiser and primer by incorporating hydrating ingredients and providing a dewy finish.

What Do I Think?

As you would expect from the Inkey List, this has some skin-loving ingredients. Aside from the Broad Spectrum Protection you also get Polyglutamic Acid, Squalane and Glycerin to help lock in moisture. Polyglutamic Acid is a humectant which helps hold water in the skin resulting in a plumper, dewier complexion. It holds four times more water than Hyaluronic Acid, so is seen as a bit superior.

They’ve created a little multitasker when it comes to this sunscreen. Aside from offering protection from sun damage, this also acts as a primer and moisturiser. When applied it leaves a slight tacky finish so your makeup has something to grip to it, helping to keep it in place all day.

It’s also really quite moisturising and hydrating on the skin. As someone with dry skin, I wouldn’t say for me it would be enough to skip moisturiser totally. But it certainly helps moisturise further and preventing the dry and tight feeling occurring.

I feel it gives a really nice flattering glow. It’s managed to not feel greasy at all, which is a surprise from a sunscreen that promises a dewy finish. I find it’s gotten the balance right on the dewiness. I have dry skin so I often lack a glow and I feel this gives me a glow without being too much. The Inkey List say this can be used by all skin types, but I feel those with oily skin may not like the glowiness of this. It might be a little too much on top of an oily skin.

It layers really well with other products and I haven’t experienced any pilling when using it with a different range or routines. Another thing I really like is that it doesn’t clump to my facial hair if I haven’t bothered to shave for a few days.

I’m definitely going to be using this a lot more over the next couple of months. I think it’s got a perfect texture as we transition into the colder months.
