I’m always intrigued by products that promise to reduce blemishes quickly. We all have moments in life when spots and blemishes appear at the most inopportune times. The Caudalie Vinopure Salicylic Spot Solution promises to reduce the look of blemishes within 1 hour.

This is a targeted blemish/spot treatment designed to take down the redness associated with the blemish/spot and dry it out thus reducing it.
What Do I Think?
This contains everything you could want in a targeted spot treatment. Natural Salicylic Acid extracted from Wintergreen Leaves helps unclogs pores and refine skin texture, while Niacinamide reduces visible pores and soothes skin. Finally, Tea Tree essential oil helps purify the blemish. All these ingredients help to target the spot and get rid of it quickly.
Being a targeted spot treatment, you only need to apply a small amount to the area of concern, rather than your whole face. It has a green tint which helps cover the redness from a spot by neutralising the colour of it.
When it’s first applied, it feels slightly cooling. It has a light, creamy texture which feels quite hydrating. One of the things I like about it most is that it doesn’t feel drying or dry out the area around the spot. You can often find some targeted spot treatments are too drying and do more damage than good. Whilst this does dry out the spot, it doesn’t dry out the surrounding area and cause further issues.
Another thing I quite like using this for is applying to my nose area where I get blackheads. I’ll simply apply it and leave it on for a couple of hours and the salicylic acid gets to work ridding the blackheads.
I do think it’s a fantastic spot treatment. It really does help take down the spot and treat it, so it’s an excellent product to have in your stash for those times when you really need it. Sure, the spot won’t be totally gone within 1 hour, but it will look reduced and the redness surrounding it will also be visibly reduced.
