Skin Proud Routine

This was a little Skin Proud routine I enjoyed back in the summer months. I know I’m so late in posting this, but I couldn’t let it go to waste 😂

This routine focused on summer skin. I wanted hydration with lightweight textures and something purifying to keep breakouts at bay.

Wonder Clay Cream to Clay Cleanser

This is a cream-to-clay cleanser which is perfect for absorbing excess oils and removing purities. I liked it as a morning cleanse during the summer when I felt my skin felt ‘clogged’.

Refresher Facial Mist

As the first step of my routine, I opted to use their facial mist which contains hydrating Japanese Rose Water, Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel Extract. I really like this mist. It’s brilliant for use as a toner before serums, or for topping up on hydration levels throughout the day.

Daily Saviour Skin Recovery Booster Serum

To keep my barrier strong, I used their barrier repair serum. I find this really quite hydrating and I love the focus on skin barrier-building ingredients such as Ceramides, Squalane and Niacinamide.

Icicle Cooling Eye Balm

This is a unique little eye balm that feels cooling around the eyes when it’s applied. It hydrates, cools and has a tightening effect which feels wonderful in the summer months.  It’s also super convenient for summer travel.

Sorbet Skin Everyday Jelly Moisturiser

I love a gel-cream moisturiser in the summer due to the lighter texture. This packs a punch when it comes to hydrating, which is quite surprisingly considering it’s totally oil-free. It leaves a nice dewy finish on the skin too.

Serious Shade SPF50+ Sunscreen

I posted a review on this earlier in the year, and raved about it. I still feel the same. It’s a beautiful lightweight milky-serum textured sunscreen that leaves no white cast.

This whole Skin Proud routine costs £81.70 in total, but if you’re on a budget you can easily remove some of the products and have a simpler routine. The essentials here are the Cleanser, Moisturiser and Sunscreen. If you have no concerns about the eyes, you don’t need the eye stick. If you don’t need something hydrating, you can drop the serum or the mist. That’s what’s great about skincare – you can adapt routines to fit your budget and your skin needs.

Have you given any of these a try?
