These two products from Dr Jart are having a serious moment on social media at the moment. They’ve been trending for a few months now on TikTok and Instagram.  The Dr Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass range contains two products which are designed to colour correct redness and calm inflammation of the skin.

Initially, both products have a green tint to them, but when applied to the skin and massaged in, they adapt the skins natural colour, hiding and neutralising any redness.

People who suffer from redness are loving these, because they really do help with an even skin tone and hiding redness. For reference, I suffer with mild redness on my nose and my cheeks.

Dr Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Camo Drops SPF 35

These are my favourite of the two purely because I find it the easiest to use. I simply apply a few drops to my face and it really helps conceal the look of redness around my nose and cheeks.

It has a serum-like texture which I find really easy to apply and blend. You can also build up the coverage easily by just applying a few more drops to the area of concern.

Whilst the drops contain a Sun Protection Factor 35, due to the little amount you need to apply, I don’t use this as a sole screen and instead layer it over a dedicated sunscreen.

It contains Niacinamide, Centella Asiatica to soothe, moisturise and calm the skin.

Dr Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Colour Correcting Treatment

This has a cream texture which feels really nice and moisturising on the skin. However, I would not use this in place of a moisturiser because you need so little of it for decent coverage. Like the drops, it contains Centella Asiatica to calm and soothe the skin.

I find this a little trickier to use than the drops, which blends out really easily. I can only use this on areas of redness, because it looks a little off and green on areas where there isn’t any redness, no matter how much I blend. For this reason, I tend to use this less when I’m in a rush, because you really need to take the time to apply carefully and blend it so it’s seamless.

To get the best results using this, I’d recommend apply a little to the back of your hand, warm it up and then apply it to your face.

When using these products, you should use them after apply sunscreen, treating them as though they are makeup. For me, these strike the perfect balance of a skincare and makeup hybrid. You get the coverage to conceal and correct redness, plus the amazing skincare benefits of the ingredients they’ve formulated these with.

Have you tried the Dr Jart Cicapair range?
