L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Retinol Range Review

L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Retinol

I’m really loving what L’Oreal Paris are doing with their skincare at the moment.  Over the last year or so, they have launched some incredible new products. The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Retinol range focuses on the power of Retinol, which is the number one ingredient in anti-ageing skincare.

The good thing about L’Oréal is that their products are so accessible. They can be found online, on the high street and even in your local supermarket. Due to their availability, they are always on sale somewhere too, meaning you can quite often nab a good discount.

L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Retinol + Niacinamide Pressed Night Cream

This has featured on my page before. It’s perfect if you want to use retinol in your routine but don’t want the irritation that can sometimes come from it. Equally this would be a great place to start if you’re new to using retinol. It comes in an opaque, fresh press jar to prevent the retinol oxidising.  Alongside the retinol, they’ve added Niacinamide to brighten and support the skin barrier.

It’s a good, moisturising night cream that’s not too heavy, so will suit all manner of skin types. Due to the hydrating base, irritation should be at a minimal whilst using this, but always go steady.

L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Pure Retinol Deep Wrinkle Night Serum

This would be for those who want to step-up a game after starting with the night cream. It contains 0.2% stable Retinol and I would say this would be equally good for those who struggle with using retinol. They’ve formulated this nicely with Hyaluronic Acid and natural oils so it feels hydrating and nourishing on the skin.

I’d have liked to have seen this in a pump bottle rather than a dropper, but the retinol is stabilised so it’s not too much of an issue. It’s just a personal preference.

Both products layer well with other serums and other brands. L’Oréal are very clear on the packaging about how to use the products. They clearly state you should build up week by week and always follow with a sunscreen the next day.

Are you intrigued by any of these?
