DEVIANT SKINCARE Cleansing Concentrate

I loved the Deviant Skincare Cleansing Concentrate with Blue Tansy (check out my review here), but I equally love the original form.

What is it?

Deviant Skincare Cleansing Concentrate is a cleansing balm that transforms into an oil when massaged in, and then turns into a milk once water is added.

What Do I Think?

As with the Blue Tansy version, the key ingredients in this cleansing balm are all about nourishing, balancing and soothing the skin. Hemp Seed Oil is rich in fatty and amino acids, helping to moisturise the skin. Omega 3+6 soothe irritation and Camellia Seed Oil is rich in antioxidants which helps to protect the skin against oxidative stresses.

Again, the experience is a luxurious one. You get enveloped by a beautiful earth, slightly nutty scent and it feels a joy to massage into the skin. Take your time with it. Give your face a good massage using the slip from the nourishing, skin-loving oils.

I wasn’t sure if the scent would be for me after reading other reviews that described it, but I actually really enjoyed it.

Again this is easily rinsed, but you can easily remove with a flannel or cloth if that’s your preferred method of removal.

After cleansing, my skin feels fantastic. It feels hydrated, nourished and clean.

Brands Product Description

The ultimate first cleanse experience. The Cleansing Concentrate is a decadent balm-to-oil-to-milk cleanser that effortlessly removes SPF, makeup and daily impurities from the skin, leaving a perfectly balanced canvas for the following steps in your skincare ritual.

Key Ingredients

  • Hemp Seed Oil – Rich in essential fatty acids and amino acids. Helps melt makeup and sunscreen and clean the skin without stripping.
  • Azulene Complex – A blend of Blue Tansy, German Chamomile and Yarrow that help soothe irritation.
  • Camellia Seed Oil – Rich in antioxidants and vitamins which help protect against environmental stressors.

How I Use It

For me this is an evening cleanser. It’s one I reach for after a long day and I just want something uplifting to clean my face. I’d apply to dry skin, massage for a minute or so, emulsify with water and massage further before rinsing.

Would I Repurchase/Buy?

Yes! I love it.

How Much?

£46.00 for 100ml. Not cheap for a cleanser, but you can use the littlest amount so it lasts a long time.
