Isntree are a Korean Skincare brand that create some incredible products. Their focus is on creating functional, ‘green’ products that are result driven. They’re really having a moment on Social Media at the moment, especially with the K-Beauty lovers.

This is a refreshing cleanser, suitable for a morning or second cleanse. It’s designed to gently cleanse the skin of impurities and excess oil without stripping the skin. It lathers into a creamy foam when used on wet skin. I don’t find it drying thanks to the hydrating Hyaluronic Acid and Green Tea it’s been formulated with. It wouldn’t be good enough to totally remove a heavy face of makeup. You would definitely need to double cleanse.
🌱 Isntree Yam Root Vegan Milk Toner

I have really been enjoying this moisturising milky toner over the colder months. It’s perfect for pumping the skin with hydration post-cleanse and pre-serums. When my skin is super dry, I like to apply multiple layers of it to boost hydration levels in my skin. This contains ingredients I love, such as ceramides, amino acids and oatmeal extract which help lock in moisture.
🌱 Isntree Hyper Retinol EX 1.0 Serum

This is a serum that packs an impressive ingredient list – 1% retinol, 0.3% retinyl palmitate, and 0.6% Bakuchiol, as well as five different peptides and ceramides. The result is a potent anti-ageing serum which aims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, stimulate collagen production and strengthen the skins moisture barrier. I haven’t experienced any irritation whilst using this every other night, but I’m an advanced vitamin A user. If you’re new slowly introduce this into your routine to prevent irritation.

I loved the look of this but sadly it hasn’t worked out for me. On paper, it sounds like a perfect sunscreen. It’s got a nice texture, feels moisturising and it aims to help strengthen the skin barrier. Unfortunately, this is tinted and the colour is just a little too pale for my skin tone. This would not be suitable for darker skin tones and will really only suit fair skin tones.
What Isntree product do you think I should try next?
