I’ve been seeing a lot of the Hello Klean Nourishing Micronutrient Wash on social media and I’ve been using it over the past couple of months.

What is it?

This is a bi-phase body wash which you shake before use. The two phases are Moisturising Milk and a Cleansing Concentrate. You shake the bottle before use to combine the two phases together. When it comes out the pump, it turns into a rich, velvety foam which you can then use to cleanse and wash your body.

What Do I Think?

The Hello Klean Nourishing Micronutrient Wash has been specifically made for those who live in hard water areas, because it removes hard water residue from the skin, while supporting a hydrated barrier thanks to the wonderful ingredients it contains.

They’ve formulated this with Matcha Green Tea, Microalgae, Sweet Almond Oil, Niacinamide, Panthenol and Vitamin E to load the skin with moisture, repair the barrier function and provide a bit of antioxidant protection.

The result is a gentle body wash that keeps your skin feeling soft, moisturised and clean. Post-shower my skin feels soft and hydrated. I’ve seen people say this helps them with their Keratosis Pilaris, but I can’t say I noticed a difference to my KP when I used this.

I love the pump packaging – it makes it really convenient to use in the shower.

As a side note, I see they’ve recently launched haircare to protect your hair from hard water. Has anyone tried it? What’s it like?

Would I recommend?

It’s worth a try if you live in a hard water area and you think it’s affecting your skin.

Brands Product Description

A body cleanser for dry, tight-feeling skin. A bi-phase body cleanser that activates into a rich foam with one quick shake. The chelating complex removes hard water residue while the micronutrient blend supports a hydrated skin barrier. Dermatologically tested and approved.

Key Ingredients

  • Matcha Green Tea – a antioxidant that soothes the skin.
  • Microalgae –  strengthens the barrier against impurities.
  • Sweet Almond Oil – seals in hydration.
  • Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – Improves the skin barrier’s ability to block out impurities in tap water.
  • Tocopherol (Vitamin E) – restores moisture and repairs the skin.
  • Panthenol (Provitamin B5) – Binds moisture and holds water in the skin.

How I Use It

I apply this in the shower to damp skin. I find it works better using your hands due to the foamy texture.

Would I Repurchase/Buy?

Yes! I liked using it. I actually would quite like if they made a few different variations, perhaps with other scents?

How Much?

£18 for 400ml. It lasts quite a long time.
