You’ve got to love a bit of Avène. I’ve used a lot of their products over the years, and their products are suitable for so many skin types. If you’re not sure what French Pharmacy brand to go for, then I would so recommend Avène.

💦 Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray
This has been in and out of my routines for a number of years. I love using this after cleansing and before and between serums since applying your serums to damp skin helps with penetration and, of course, it gives an added boost of hydration.
It’s packed with soothing, calming, and hydrating minerals, and can be used by all skin types, even the most sensitive.
The spray on this is super light and fine. It’s also great to carry around in summer if you want an added boost of hydration, or you simply just want something cooling to spray on your face.
☀ Avène Intense Protect SPF 50+
This is one for all the family since its been developed with sensitive skin in mind. It can be used by babies, children and adults alike. This is your go-to whether you’re spending the day at the beach or by the pool, or even just running errands in the hot summer sun.
You can use this on both your face and your body, though I prefer to use it on my body and use something a bit more lightweight on my face. The finish is nice – there is no white cast so it’s perfect for us by all skin tones. It feels incredibly hydrating thanks to the nurturing ingredients in the formula. You also get an added antioxidant boost thanks to the Pro-vitamin E.
The only downside to this is you will need to be careful with it around white clothing, since it has a tendency to stain.
