The Current Body Hydrogel Face Mask are a great little addition to your skincare routine. These were created to supercharge the effects of the Current Body LED Mask (read my review here), but they also make a really nice mask to use before a party or event.
What is it?
The mask itself is somewhat like a sheet mask, except its plant-based hydrogel. They are jam-packed with nutrients, antioxidants, probiotics and plant extracts and is designed to hydrate, provide antioxidant protection, soothe, plump and rejuvenate the skin.
What Do I Think?
To use these with the mask, you simply wear it underneath the LED Mask for your 10 minute treatment. The masks are generously soaked in product, and there is quite a lot of excess which can be used to massage into your chest and arms.
If you don’t have the mask, you can still use these. You’ll still get good benefits from using it.
The masks fit the face well and stay put, which I really appreciate. There’s nothing worse than a mask that slips and slides all over your face. It also doesn’t feel too sticky or messy, which is nice.
After use, I find my skin has a really flattering, healthy glow. It also feels super hydrated and soft after use. I therefore like to use these before a night out or party when I want my skin looking its absolute best.
I’ve used these with the LED Mask and without and I do think the results are better when used with the LED Mask, but the results are still nice without.
Would I recommend?
If you want to give your LED mask a little ‘umph’, then these would be a welcome addition to your routine.

How I Use It
I would cleanse my face, apply the Hydrogel Mask and then wear my Current Body LED Mask on top for 10 minutes. Once the 10 minutes is up, I’ll remove the LED Mask and wear this for maybe 10 minutes longer before removing. Any excess, I simply massage in.

Yes! They’re particularly great just before a party because they’re hydrating and give your skin an instant glow.
