Kate Somerville EradiKate Daily Foaming Cleanser Review

Kate Somerville EradiKate Daily Foaming Cleanser
AD/PR – This product was purchased by myself but I have since been gifted it.

The Kate Somerville EradiKate Daily Foaming Cleanser is truly having its viral moment on Social Media. I wanted to see what all the hype was about, so purchased this last year.

What is it?

A cream cleanser which will remove makeup, sunscreen and dirt without stripping the skin.

What Do I Think?

I have to be honest, this was one of the products I really overlooked out of the entire Kate Somerville range. It didn’t appeal to me before it went viral because I have dry skin and in my head I had assumed it was going to be drying. How wrong was I?

I can honestly say it’s not drying whatsoever. In fact, my skin has loved it! Whilst it’s probably aimed at more oily/combination acne prone skin, I can vouch that all can use this and reap the benefits.

What gives this cleanser its magic powers is the 3% Sulfur, which is brilliant at drawing out impurities and absorbing excess oil. It’s also a miracle worker at reducing sebaceous filaments and blackheads, which is one of the most common skin concerns people have, and it aids in preventing breakouts and reducing existing breakouts. In addition to the Sulfur, it contains Natural Oat Extract to further reduce, absorb and balance sebum, and Honey & Rice Bran Extracts to calm and soothe.

It foams so beautifully and feels luxuriously creamy when you massage it in on damp skin. Post cleanse, my face feels like it’s had a good thorough cleanse, but as previously mentioned, it doesn’t feel like it’s stripped my skin of any moisture.

As time went on and I used it more, I noticed any breakouts tended to clear up quicker. I also found it helpful in preventing breakouts in the first place too.

A tip I’ve seen online you can apply this to your face and wear it as mask for a few minutes before rinsing. This supercharges the cleanser and you will reap even better results.

It’s currently going in and out of stock due to the volume of people trying it, so be sure to pick it up when you can! Thanks Kate Somerville for sending me a backup!

Would I recommend?

Yes – if you’re suffering with breakouts or sebaceous filaments, then definitely give the Kate Somerville EradiKate Daily Foaming Cleanser a try.
