If you want a little bit of luxury when it comes to body care then Elemis is the brand for you. I got the Elemis Skin Nourishing Shower Cream in a set from QVC at Christmas time and I have become obsessed with it.
What is it?
The Elemis Skin Nourishing Shower Cream is a body wash is designed to leave the skin feeling moisturised, cleansed and soft.
What Do I Think?
To achieve the moisturised, cleansed and softening claim they’ve used a blend of oils – Camellia, Macadamia and Jojoba Oils – which makes it feel extremely nourishing. Oat Kernel helps relieve dry and irritated skin. Milk Proteins also feature to lock in moisture
The first thing I love about this is the scent is to die for. I am absolutely rubbish at describing scents, but to me it smells extremely clean, almost powdery and invokes comfort, cosiness, clean bedsheets, luxury, and warmth. It’s the kind of scent you want in your shower after a long day at work.
The second thing I love is a little bit goes a long way. This can literally last months. You need the tiniest amount (a 10p sized amount will do it) in order to get a good lather and cleanse your whole body. I started using mine in December, and I’ve just finished using it in May.
Finally, the third thing I love, is just how moisturising and nourishing it feels on the body. If you suffer with dry skin on the body, this would be a good body wash for you to try.
I like to pair this with the body cream for that ultimate pamper session feeling.
Would I recommend?
Yes. If you have the budget to splurge on a body wash and want something that smells gorgeously comforting and feels moisturising, then give it a try.
