The Murad Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF30 offers sun protection and antioxidant protection all in one, so it’s great for a quick little morning routine if you don’t want to layer too many steps.
What is it?
A daily moisturiser with SPF50 designed to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays.
What Do I Think?
It contains Vitamin C is an antioxidant in itself, and helps to brighten and even the skin tone. You also get Ginkgo Biloba, which is another fantastic antioxidant, and it works harmoniously with the Vitamin C to fight free radical damage.
Combining sun protection with Vitamin C is brilliant for preventing and fading pigmentation. If pigmentation is one of your biggest battles, this might be a good option to go for, especially when layered with their Vita-C Glycolic serum.
This feels very moisturising on the skin. You could easily skip using a separate moisturiser and use this as your sole moisturiser for the whole day.
This has a lovely dewy-finish which gives a healthy glow to the skin and my dry skin really appreciates. I think if you’re on the more oily side, you may find the dewy finish to be a little bit too much.
As you’d expect from a chemical sunscreen, there is no white cast with this. It also layers incredibly well with Murad and non-Murad products, making it so easy to slot into your routine.
Would I recommend?
Yes – especially if you want a solid moisturiser and sunscreen all-in-one.
