Who else is a fan of a gel moisturiser in Summer? 🙋🏻♂️ They tend to be my go-to because I never want anything heavy on my face, especially when it’s warm. The Skin Proud Sorbet Skin is an affordable option and one that many will love.
What is it?
Skin Proud Sorbet Skin is a gel-cream moisturiser designed to be lightweight on the skin but provide deep hydration.
What Do I Think?
I’m a big fan of this moisturiser. I have dry/dehydrated skin so I really do need all the hydration I can get, and this moisturiser delivers it. It melts effortlessly into the skin, and immediately makes it feel hydrated, refreshed and plump.
Whilst this works really well for me as someone with dry/dehydrated skin, I can imagine it will also work equally as well for someone with oily skin, thanks to the fact that it has no oil in it.
There is a faint plesant scent to it, which I think comes from the Rose Water. It’s not an overpowering scent at all, and it disappears quite quickly after application.
This layers really well with other products and sunscreens, whether they’re Skin Proud’s products or not.
It leaves what I’d call a healthy-glow finish on the skin. It’s not a matte-finish at all, just a subtle healthy-glow.
Would I recommend?
Yes. If you like a gel-textured cream and want an affordable option, then this would be worth a try.
