Wild Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant Review

Wild Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant

I had been really intrigued by the Wild Deodorants having seen them plastered all over Social Media.  People seemed to be loving them.  What appealed to me about them, was that they were refillable, but they also have an array of scents to choose from. I opted for the Wild Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant because I’m a sucker for a vanilla scent.

What is it?

The Wild Deodorants are made with all natural ingredients and made without aluminium, parabens and sulphates. They believe that sweating is a natural process, so their deodorants have been made to absorb your sweat rather than to prevent you from sweating.

What Do I Think?

You need to initially buy a case for the deodorant, costing £10 each and you can then buy any of the refills to insert into the cast for £6. The case is sturdy and made to last. The case allows you to twist the deodorant up, like a lipstick, so you can apply to your skin.

The fragrance of the Coconut & Vanilla is undeniably beautiful. If you’re a fan of coconut or vanilla scents, you will really like this.  The scent lingers all day and I even had a few compliments whilst wearing this because it smelt so good.

It feels creamy when applied. It did leave a few white marks on some dark clothing, but you can avoid this by

When switching to natural deodorants, you may go through a transition period where you sweat more. This didn’t happen for me when I started using this deodorant.

In terms of how well it works – well it works quite well. There a couple of times when it was a particularly hot summer day and I had been sweating a lot, plus I did some exercise, and I found I could smell myself towards the end of the day. Those instances were few and far between, and the rest of the time it’s left me feeling dry, and smelling fresh.

I was impressed with this and I loved the scent, but ultimately I don’t want to risk smelling, especially during summer, so I would probably only use this during cooler periods of the year.  I’ll stick to my trusted Dove for the warmer summer months.

Would I recommend?

I would so long as it’s not overly hot and you aren’t doing anything too strenuous. I found I could smell myself after a long hot day and after doing exercise, but this wasn’t very often. If you’re someone who sweats a lot, you might want an antiperspirant which actually stops you sweating.
