Murad Retinal ReSculpt Eye Lift Treatment Review

Murad Retinal ReSculpt Eye Lift Treatment

The Murad Retinal Resculpt Overnight Treatment was one of my favourite launches last year (see my post here). This year, I was thrilled when they released the Murad Retinal ReSculpt Eye Lift Treatment to accompany the supremely popular serum.

What is it?

An eye cream that promises to target all the signs of ageing we hate around the eye area, including fine lines, wrinkles and loss of firmness.

What Do I Think?

From the minute I read the blurb that accompanied this eye cream, I just knew I was going to love it.

The active ingredient which delivers the results promised is Retinal – a form of Vitamin A. Murad have cleverly encapsulated the Retinal in an exclusive delivery system for enhanced stability and targeted delivery for 2.5x more effectiveness. Paired with the Retinal are Gentian Root Extract and Oat-Firming Film for lifting and targeting the appearance of sagging/drooping eyelids and under-eye bags.

The luxurious texture is rich and hydrating, but absorbs quickly into the skin. There’s a velvety smooth feeling to the cream, but not in a loaded-with-silicone kind of way and non-greasy. You only need the smallest amount for both eyes, so the pot will last you quite a while.

The best thing about this is that it hasn’t irritated my skin. If I’m going to get irritated anywhere on my face, it will be around my eyes. This proves to me that the formula is top-notch and has been made for many people to use and enjoy.

Mirroring the experience I had with the serum, I’ve been finding the results fantastic. I’ve been using this every other night and I’m noticing the fine lines around my eyes are softened and certainly more hydrated. I can’t vouch for the lifting claims, because it’s not something I think I suffer from (yet). But if fine lines and wrinkles are your concern, this is undoubtedly worth a try.

Would I recommend?

If you’re concerned about ageing around the eyes, this would be a fantastic cream to try. You could also start with the Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum first, before going onto this one.
