If you’re after a budget-friendly Vitamin C Serum then look no further than the Q+A Vitamin C Brightening Serum. I actually cannot believe this only costs £10, because I found the results just as good as many other more expensive Vitamin C serums.

What is it?

A Vitamin C serum which provides antioxidant support and hydration while brightening the skin.

What Do I Think?

I’ve kind of already summarised what I think in the first paragraph, but simply put – it’s great and I’m impressed.

The Ascorbic Acid, which is the Vitamin C in this formulation, is encapsulated which means it’s kept highly stable so you don’t have to worry about it oxidising and losing its potency as you use it. Volcanic Soil is what helps keep the Vitamin C stable. It creates a barrier to protect it from being exposed. As normal with serums such as this, you also get Hyaluronic Acid in the formulation which makes it that little bit more hydrating.

The pump packaging is very much welcome. It makes it so easy and convenient to apply in the morning and saves the faff of using a dropper.

It’s got a creamy, lotion like texture which instantly gives the skin a flattering glow when applied. As a bonus, it was also quite a moisturising serum – I didn’t feel the need to layer a hydrating serum with it.

In terms of results, it definitely made my skin brighter. It really helped fade pigmentation left from any old spots too.

Would I recommend?

Yes! Decent budget-friendly Vitamin C serums are difficult to come by, so this is absolutely worth a try.
