Superdrops Flash Face Lift Serum was one of my last purchases before unsubscribing from Beauty Pie. I get tempted every now and then to re-subscribe, since they’ve released some new intriguing skincare, and I really like some of their hair and body care products.

Beauty Pie Superdrops Flash Face Lift is a peptide-based serum designed to firm, plump and tone the skin.
What Do I Think?
If I did rejoin, this would be one of the first things I’d add to my basket. I’m a sucker for a peptide-packed serum and, for members, this one is well-priced for what you get. It’s loaded with peptides and hyaluronic acid, both workhorses for hydrating, plumping, and firming the skin. It’s particularly good for softening fine lines, and it does all this without the irritation that some more potent actives, like retinoids, can cause.
That said, let’s talk about the name. It’s a bit of a stretch. Sure, it offers an instant hit of hydration, but there’s nothing flash about its effects, and it certainly won’t give you the results a good facelift would. The peptides here are slow-burners, designed to improve the skin over time. You won’t wake up looking dramatically different the next morning, but if you’re in it for the long haul, this could be a great addition to your routine.
The texture is a thin, watery gel – instantly hydrating, but not overly rich. In terms of comparison, it reminds me a bit of Trinny London’s Plump Up Serum. While Trinny’s version is thicker and has a bit more of a sticker feel, I’d say the results are on par. If you’re on a budget, Beauty Pie’s serum delivers similar benefits without breaking the bank.
Another thing I love? It plays nicely with others. It layers well under other serums and moisturisers without causing that annoying pilling effect. And unlike some of Beauty Pie’s other offerings, this one is fragrance-free, which is ideal if you’re prone to sensitivity.
As an aside, peptides are known for supporting hair growth, and I’ve noticed my eyebrows need more regular trimming when I use this consistently – an unexpected bonus!
