I feel like cream cleansers are having a comeback after losing the limelight to favoured cleansing balms and oils. I’ve always been fan of a cream cleanser, since they suit my drier skin exceptionally well. You can get cream cleansers at all price points, but there are some affordable gems out there – the Super Facialist Rosehip Hydrate Calming Creamy Cleanser being one of them.

Super Facialist Rosehip Hydrate Calming Creamy Cleanser is, as per the name, a creamy cleanser for dry and sensitive skin.
What Do I Think?
This £9 offering (and regularly on sale for even cheaper) has been formulated to melt away makeup and impurities, but leave the skin feeling moisturised, hydrated, softer and looking radiant.
Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter make up the thick and rich, but ungreasy, creamy texture. As you’d expect, given the name, Rosehip Seed Oil has been added to lock in moisture and soothe irritation, along with Marshmallow Extract which further helps with soothing. These are all joined by a pleasing Rose Damascena fragrance to uplift your senses as you cleanse.
I love using this because it feels quite luxurious without the hefty price tag. It leaves my face feeling clean, moist and comfortable.
I really like that it can be easily rinsed with water. Not all cream cleansers require a cloth to remove. I tend to avoid cloth removal where possible, since I find it irritating for my skin. The fact it rinses well with just water makes it a great choice for a morning or evening cleanse. If we’re in the depths of winter and my skin is feeling dry and tight, then I would definitely reach for this again.
Would I recommend?
I’d say a lot of people would enjoy this, particularly if you’re dry skinned like me. It might also be a good choice if you find balms and oils messy and want something that’s more solid to massage into your face.
