If you follow me here, you’ll know that my love for Trinny London skincare runs deep. I’ve eagerly snapped up nearly every new release, with products like Bounce Back and Plump Up earning permanent spots in my routine. But when Trinny London launched The Elevator, their first neck cream, I didn’t rush to buy it. It wasn’t until it went on sale later in the year that curiosity finally got the better of me.
What is it?
A neck cream (or concentrate as the brand prefer to call it) which promises to lift, smooth and firm the neck.
What Do I Think?
Billed as a neck cream that promises to lift, smooth, firm, and define the neck and décolleté, The Elevator makes some ambitious claims. The before-and-after photos on Trinny London’s site are impressive, but details of the clinical trials that might support these claims are notably absent (unless I’m doing a man look 👀), which feels like a missed opportunity for transparency.
The formula includes peptides to help reduce fine lines and improve skin elasticity, alongside Alpha-Arbutin to tackle hyperpigmentation. It has a thick, occlusive texture that feels luxurious and deeply moisturising, and the signature Trinny scent – clean and uplifting – is a nice touch, adding a hint of indulgence to each application.
Here’s where my honest confession comes in. I struggle to use it. For years, it’s been second nature to apply all my skincare down to my neck and décolleté, so adding a standalone neck product to my routine feels redundant. I suspect my lack of major concerns about my neck is also to blame for my inconsistency with this product, making it hard to judge its lifting and firming potential fairly.
Determined not to let it languish in my drawer, I repurposed it as a facial moisturiser – and, to my surprise, it worked beautifully. Richer than Trinny’s Bounce Back moisturiser, it’s been a lovely option during colder months, leaving my skin soft and well-nourished.
For me, it hasn’t earned a permanent place in my routine – and that’s perfectly fine. It’s a beautifully made product, but it’s simply not essential for my current skincare needs.
Would I recommend?
I think this product is best suited to those who need a nudge to pay attention to their neck. If you’re someone who routinely neglects the area, a dedicated product like this might be just the motivation you need. But for those of us already in the habit of extending our face serums and creams southward, Trinny London The Elevator may feel surplus to requirements.

How I Use It
I struggle to remember to use it! But when I do use it properly and not as a moisturiser, I would just apply this to my neck instead of my usual serums and moisturiser.
