This month’s empties seem to have developed a theme of their own – cleansers. A few had been hanging around, so I made it my mission to finish them off before testing something new.

😍 – Would Repurchase
😢 – Not For Me
😍 Super Facialist Skin Renew Cleansing Oil*
At one point, I was convinced this bottle would outlive me. It seemed bottomless. But that’s no bad thing – it’s a brilliantly effective oil cleanser that obliterates makeup, SPF, and grime in seconds. Leaves skin clean but never tight, and costs about the same as a coffee and a pastry. A total winner.
😍 Murad Cellular Hydration Repair Serum*
If your skin throws a tantrum after retinoids or acids, this is the soothing, hydrating arm around the shoulder it needs. Great for layering, brilliant at calming irritation, and one of those serums you don’t realise how much you love until you’re scraping the last few drops out.
😍 Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream
A comforting, cocooning cream that does exactly what it promises. Rich without suffocating or feeling greasy. My skin lapped it up and now I want the full size. Perfect for winter or anyone whose face regularly feels like it’s waging war against central heating.
😍 Eve Lom Cleanser
A proper icon in the cleansing world. Melts away every scrap of the day’s grime, leaving skin clean, soft, and ready for the rest of your routine. The scent is divisive (I love it, some don’t), but its cleansing power is undeniable. One I’ll be coming back to.
😍 Deviant Skincare Cleansing Concentrate with Blue Tansy*
A luxurious, sensorial treat. The balm melts into an oil, then transforms into a milk, making it one of those cleansers that turns a mundane task into an end-of-day ritual. If you love the feeling of truly taking the day off, this is for you.
😍 Niche Beauty Lab – Transparent Lab Urea Face Cream*
Full review coming soon, but in short: I adored this. An absolute saviour for dry, winter-ravaged skin, delivering a serious moisture boost without feeling heavy or cloying.
❤️ Kate Somerville DeliKate Recovery Serum**
I’d completely forgotten how much I love this. Normally, the Recovery Cream is my winter go to, but this year, I’ve been using the Transparent Lab Urea Cream, and this slotted in perfectly alongside it. Light but deeply nourishing, it’s a proper barrier-building miracle in a bottle.
Haircare

😍 Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner*
Loved this – worked brilliantly alongside the shampoo, though (predictably) I’ve finished the conditioner first. Does anyone, in the history of hair-washing, ever finish both at the same time? Only one small slight gripe – it did leave my hair a touch static, but nothing a bit of styling product couldn’t fix. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note if you air-dry. Otherwise, a solid, effective conditioner that leaves hair feeling strong and silky. Would happily use again.
