What I’ve used up this month, the good, the not-so-good, and the ones I’ve already clicked ‘reorder’ on.
❤️ – Already Repurchased
😍 – Would Repurchase
😢 – Not For Me
❤️ Kate Somerville Mega-C Skin Transforming Serum*
Just fantastic. Gentle enough for regular use, but with a proper punch of actives. I saw brighter, more even skin and some softening of lines.
😍 La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser*
A staple for sensitive skin. Creamy, comforting, and incredibly gentle. It’s not going to give you a sensorial thrill, but it will clean your face without a hint of tightness or irritation. Bonus points for lasting absolutely ages.
❤️ Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Cream*
One of those products you reach for when your skin’s feeling a bit off. Red, reactive, tight – it fixes all of it. It’s soothing, cocooning, and gives skin the drink it needs.
😍 Youth to the People Superfood Cleanser*
I was sceptical – everyone said it was drying. But on my dry skin? Not at all. It’s zingy, fresh, and makes for the perfect wakeup cleanse.
😍 Flanerie Lily Bloom Hyaluronic Vivifying Facial Serum*
A solid glow-giver and hydrating layer. It plumps and perks up skin on contact, without any stickiness. Think of it as your quick and easy radiance boost.
😍 CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum*
If your skin flares up at the mere mention of Vitamin C, this is your guy. Stable, gentle, and buffered with moisturising ingredients. It quietly improves brightness with none of the drama.
❤️ Naturium Barrier Bounce
Wrote about this one recently and still stand by every word. Hydrating, comforting, and barrier-supporting – everything your skin wants when it’s overwhelmed. Already repurchased.
😍 Lancome Rénergie H.P.N UVMUNE Cream*
The one I reached for all summer. Sits beautifully on the skin, gives a subtle glow, and quietly improves elasticity over time with a staggering number of peptides. Not cheap, but oh so good.
Body Care

😍 Niche Beauty Lab Transparent Lab Hydrating Glycerin Body Cleanser
With a hefty 50% glycerin, this conditions as your cleanse your body. It also gives a good lather (rare for something this nourishing), so it still feels like a proper cleanse, not just a skin treatment pretending to be one.
😍 Sol De Janeior Brazilian Bum Bum Cream – Cheirosa 62
I thought I’d hate this. I expected the scent to be so overwhelming it would knock me sideways. But credit where it’s due – it’s actually a lot more restrained than I’d imagined. Warm and sweet but wearable. The texture is also excellent – moisturising but fast-absorbing, which means you can throw your clothes on within seconds.
