Just back from a week in the sun. It my first proper warm weather break in far too long. Ironically, I think the UK was hotter, but still, it was bliss to have a change of scene. Here’s what made the cut for my face.

An ideal travel exfoliant. Gentle, quick, and incredibly effective at sloughing off dullness without stripping the skin or irritating.
☀️ Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cleanser*
My safety blanket in cleanser form. Gentle, creamy, and always reliable. It’s my cleanser of choice for my travel bag.
☀️ Coola Classic Face Sunscreen SPF50
Chose this for the travel-friendly size and stayed for the texture. Moisturising without being greasy, and layers well over skincare. I’d happily buy the full size.
☀️ Kerastase Nutritive Lotion Thermique Sublimatrice
An emergency purchase mid-trip when my hair started behaving like straw. It revived frazzled ends and added softness. Definitely one for sun-soaked suitcases.
☀️ Trinny London See The Light SPF50
I’ve said it before, but this is such a luxury SPF. It gives that soft-focus glow without ever feeling sunscreen-y. Worth every penny if you want a touch of luxury with your UV protection.
☀️ Charlotte Tilbury Magic Serum
A surprise favourite. Gives the skin a dewy, well rested gleam without the having to worry about irritation in the sun. One of those serums that just works well instantly.
☀️ Trinny London Take Back Time Skin Vitality Elixir
I’ll save the detail for my upcoming review, but spoiler alert: I’m a fan.
☀️ Kate Somerville PeptideK8 Power Cream*
Brought this along for nighttime repair. Does the job well with its nourishing, comforting texture, though I still prefer her Total Repair Cream of which I see better results while using.
☀️ Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
Brought for post-flight dryness, but in the end, I didn’t need it. Good to have in reserve though.

If you’re headed somewhere warm, this is a gem. Light as air, but deeply hydrating. A perfect daytime moisturiser when anything heavy feels suffocating.
