Let me introduce you to the newest launched from Dermalogica, the Dermalogica Neurotouch Symmertry Serum, the latest launch from .

What is it?

A facial oil serum which promises to help sculpt and restore natural facial symmetry.

What Do I Think?

Described as a “sculpting facial oil serum”, it blends neurotechnology with a cocktail of biomimetic botanicals to help visibly restore natural facial symmetry and deliver a more lifted look. To complement the product, Dermalogica has even created a sculpting routine to follow along with. This is essentially a beautifully mindful facial massage, complete with lymphatic drainage techniques, that turns application into a few minutes of selfcare.

The formula itself is impressively loaded. It’s got adaptogenic botanicals, a biomimetic hexapeptide, and CoQ10 which is a brilliant antioxidant known for its skin firming benefits. This is all wrapped up in a calming aromachology blend that makes it smell deliciously grounding and earthy. There’s bioengineered Bacillus Ferment to support lifting and sculpting, Winged Kelp to help firm, and Rosewood Extract to encourage contour definition. To keep skin strong and supple, squalane and nutrient-rich oils work to bolster the moisture barrier.

The texture is exactly what I want from something calling itself an oil-serum hybrid. It’s deeply nourishing with just enough slip for a massage, but without that greasy, heavy feel that puts so many people off facial oils. It sinks in beautifully, leaves skin instantly softer and smoother, and feels like a proper drink for parched complexions.

It’s worth saying that, as with most “lifting” products, the results are subtle. You’re not getting a facelift level transformation here. But between the thoughtfully formulated serum and the sculpting routine, you can expect skin that looks refreshed, more defined, and significantly less puffy, which is great in itself.

Would I recommend?

It’s definitely one for the coming months if you skin seeks some extra nourishment from the cold. What I really love is the way this product encourages us to slow down. Taking five minutes to massage your face, work on lymphatic drainage, and breathe in that grounding scent. It encourages you to feel like you’ve truly looked after yourself, not just slapped on another step in your routine.
