This is the sort of moisturiser that’s never going to trend on TikTok or get a flashy celebrity campaign but it will sit happily on your bathroom shelf and reliably soothe your skin, day in, day out.
Formulated specifically for sensitive, reactive, or easily irritated skin, this crème is a beautiful example of uncomplicated, functional skincare. It’s enriched with prebiotics to help support a healthy skin microbiome, glycerin to keep hydration levels topped up, and La Roche-Posay’s signature thermal spring water for its gentle, anti-irritant properties. The texture is light enough to work for oily and combination skin, but still comforting enough for those of us on the drier side.
What I particularly appreciate about Toleriane Sensitive Crème is that it’s calming and soothing. There’s no overpowering scent, no stinging on application and no heavy film left behind. It’s leaves skin feeling calm, hydrated and comfortable.
It sinks in quickly, sits beautifully under sunscreen and makeup, and never feels greasy or cloying. If you’ve overdone it on retinoids, acids, or a bit too much sun, this is the kind of product that will feel like a sigh of relief on application. It’s also great to use alongside your retinoids or acids, just to soothe while they work.
