What if I told you this Superdrug Vitamin C Super Booster serum costs £10.99 and I thought it was just as good as more expensive Vitamin C serums on the market?
What is it?
A 10% Vitamin C serum. Vitamin C is antioxidant that helps promote collagen production in the skin. It can also help improve the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation
What Do I Think?
Honestly, I was really impressed with this serum from Superdrug. Containing 10% Vitamin C & 0.1% Ferulic Acid, this serum promises to help improve the appearance of dark spots, and revive the skins complexion. I can tell you it lives up to its promises 🙌
This serum uses 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, which is a stable form of Vitamin C. This means you don’t have to worry about it losing its potency as you use it. I found that when I was using this, I definitely saw results through brightening of the skin. My complexion was more radiant and looked healthier.
It smells like hotdog water, which I know will be off-putting to some, but that is what Vitamin C tends to smell like. I actually quite like the smell and I’m not sure why. 🤣🙊 Does anyone else secretly like the smell?
It’s a little bit tacky when applied to the skin, but this soon goes after you’ve applied a moisturiser and sunscreen. The packaging is also a little cheap, but I don’t really care about those sorts of things when the juice itself works so well.

How I Use It
I use this in my morning routine after cleansing and before moisturiser and sunscreen. I’d layer it with a Hydrating Serum and also an exfoliating toner if I was using one that day.
Would I Repurchase/Buy?
If you’re on a budget and need a good Vitamin C serum I would definitely recommend trying this one out. Especially at the moment where everything is getting more expensive and none of us are getting the pay to factor this in. I know for sure when I’m next in need of a Vitamin C serum I will be looking this one up.
