Elemental Herbology is a natural skincare and body care brand, aiming to provide ultimate skin nutrition inspired by the five elementals of traditional Chinese Medicine – Fire, Wood, Earth, Water and Metal.
They have an online quiz where you can find your element, and you’re recommended products based on this. It’s a little bit ‘woo-woo’ for me, but the idea’s nice. The Elemental Herbology element that suited me best was Water and so I was sent products based on this.
🌿 Calm & Soothe Cleansing Balm
Rich in nourishing botanical oils, this cleanser is your traditional balm cleanser that melts away make-up, sunscreen and impurities effortlessly. Rich in Omegas and Fatty Acids, it nourishes and protects the skin whilst breaking down grime. It’s a really nice first cleanse and includes a muslin cloth.

🌿 Hyaluronic Acid Booster Serum
I find this really quite hydrating and it leaves the skin with a nice health glow. It’s easily absorbed and instantly provides a plumpness to the skin. Hyaluronic Acid is obviously one of the key ingredients, but they’ve also added Squalane and Glycerin to give that burst of hydration to the skin.

🌿 Cell Plumping Moisturiser
I also really like this moisturiser. The texture fools you a little bit, you expect a thick cream but this is actually quite lightweight. It definitely packs a punch on the hydration front. I can easily use this as a day cream or night cream, but generally prefer it at night. Key ingedients include Royal Jelly, Co-Enzyme Q10 and Evening Primose.

🌿 Calm & Soothe Facial Oil
Chamomile, Rose Damask and Rosehip combine to deeply hydrate, soothe and nourish the skin. There isn’t much of a smell to this, which I quite like because some facial oils can be quite overpowering. I like to mix a few drops of this into a moisturiser for an added hydration boost, or to lube up my face for a bit of Gua Sha massage.

I’ve tried some of their body products in the past that I picked up in TKMaxx and they’re great if you want a little indulgent treat.
Have you tried any Elemental Herbology products?
