The Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Masks have been super popular on Social Media over the past few months. Not only are they incredibly affordable, but they are also multitasking since you can use them as a conditioner, a rinse-out hair mask, or even a leave-in conditioner. This offers the opportunity to use them however you wish and what suits your lifestyle and hair concerns.
They’ve recently been slightly reformulated to include Vitamins C, E & F to help promote shine, intensely moisturise and strengthen the hair.
They are currently available in 7 varieties, all of which target a different hair concern. So, which one should you go for you ask? Here’s which each one is designed to target:-
🍌 Banana – For Dry Hair
🥥 Coconut and Macadamia – For Frizzy Dry Hair
🍉 Watermelon – for Fine Hair
🍍 Pineapple & Amla – for Long, Dull Hair
🟠 Papaya and Amla – for Damaged Hair
💧 Aloe Vera – for Dehydrated Hair
🧈 Cocoa Butter – for Dry Curly Hair

My favourite is the Banana version, because my hair can often get quite dry from heat styling daily, and that one is designed specifically for dry hair. I’m also a sucker for a good banana scent 🍌.
Whilst I don’t have the concerns the other two are targeting, I still use them because ultimately they are a hydrating hair mask and are going to keep my hair feeling soft, shiny and healthy. I love that they don’t weigh my hair down, and any styling I need to do the next day is not compromised.
I tend to apply these to damp hair and then leave them on for a good few hours on a Sunday afternoon before rinsing when I was my hair in the evening.

They cost just £8.99 for a generous 400ml tub, so these will last you ages. They’re also regularly on offer in places like Boots, Superdrug, Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s.
