We all know I’m such a fan of Kate Somerville so when she launched SuperCell Rejuvenation Serum as part of the KateCeuticals range this year, no one was more excited than me.
What is it?
This is a potent little serum which targets concerns most of us will have with our skin throughout our life, such as uneven skin tone, sagging and loss of firmness, uneven texture, dull and dry skin, and fine lines and wrinkles.
What Do I Think?
It harnesses the power of a vegan Stem Cell Complex which, in basic terms, imitate human proteins. These instruct your skin to immediately speed up cell turnover, giving you a more rejuvenated, healthier and youthful-looking, radiant skin. As with all the KateCeuticals products, Peptides have been added to compliment and boost the effectiveness of the vegan Stem Cell Complex. You also get a generous helping of Squalane, a super hydrator, which helps restore the skin barrier and support a healthy microbiome.
The packaging is totally unique and not like anything I’ve come across before. The tube has a roller attached so you can massage the product into your skin. You gently squeeze the tube to allow the product to come out via the roller, and then massage the product in to the skin. The roller feels glorious on the skin – it’s cooling and helps contour the face as you massage the product in. You do need to be a little bit careful with how you squeeze the tube or you may find too much product coming out.
In terms of results, to put it simply – I am very impressed. When using this twice daily, I can really notice a difference in how my skin looks and feels. Not only does it feel and look smoother and suppler, it also looks brighter and healthier-looking. If I had any blemishes, I found they cleared up and healed a lot quicker than if I wasn’t using this serum. And when my skin was feeling sensitive, I found it helped to soothe and calm the irritation much quicker. The lines on my forehead looked less pronounced too.
The brand suggest that the results are even better post-microneedling. I’ve been using it after using my Trinny London Plump Up Microneedle and can vouch for these claims. You will see brilliant results when using alongside microneedling.

Would I recommend?
Yes. Overall, I’d say this is 100% worth a try, especially if you’re looking to delve into the world of Stem Cells in skincare. It will also be a good choice of serum if your skin cannot tolerate retinoids, but you want the anti-ageing effects of Vitamin A.
