I’ve always been intrigued by the Joanna Vargas products, so when I saw the Daily Hydrating Cream on sale at SpaceNK I wasted no time in snapping it up.
What is it?
Joanna Vargas Daily Hydrating Cream is a rich, hydrating cream packed with vitamins, minerals, proteins and fatty acids all designed to moisturise dry and dehydrated skin, plump and promote a healthier, youthful looking skin.
What Do I Think?
Joanna Vargas has formulated this to be a little bit of a multitasker. The cocoa and shea butter base with added Jojoba & Acacado Oil deeply nourishes and intesley hydrates the skin. Galactoarabinan, which is a natural AHA, gently exfoliates dead skin cells. To soothe, Oat Amino Protein has been added. And Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide help product the skin from UV damage.
What I love about this cream is that it strikes the right balance of providing all the moisture, hydration and nourishment my skin needs without feeling overly thick and heavy on the skin. The texture feels silky, luxurious, and effortlessly melts into the skin providing instant relief and comfort from that tight and dry feeling us with dry skin can feel. It layers exceptionally well with a range of different serums, and I’d imagine it would prep your skin perfectly for makeup. I feel as I used this, my skin was looking and feeling more hydrated, plumper and fresher.
It has a beautiful scent – a concoction of coconut milk and lemon grass is very reminiscent for me of holidays in the sun. It’s a pleasing scent and really edges towards the luxurious experience you get from using this moisturiser.
Would I recommend?
Yes. Though it sounds like this may suit dry skin better than any other skin type, I actually think a lot of people would like using this, thanks to the lightweight texture. If you’re oilier and you prefer a slightly richer cream at night in the winter, then this would be a good one to try.

How I Use It
I loved this in my day time and night time routine. I’d simply layer it over my serums of choice and follow with a sunscreen if using in the day.
Would I Repurchase/Buy?
Yes! Sadly, I’m not sure I can currently repurchase this because I’m not sure I can find a UK based stockist. I have a feeling SpaceNK have stopped selling the products, hence why I was able to get it at a heavy discount. Hopefully the brand have something planned to bring the products back to the UK soon.
