I think Zitsticka are one of my go-to brands when it comes to spot/blemish patches. They just work, and are so handy to have in your stash for the times a blemish unexpectedly pops up. One of their newest products is the Zitsticka Goo Getter Nose Clarifying Pore & Blemish Strip. These are designed to be used on your nose to rid blackheads and blemishes.
Now, we all know by now that nose strips are bad for our skin. I’m talking about the ones that stick to your skin and rip the blackheads out. Remember those? Yeah, they had their moment and we’ve all learnt from that. Luckily, these do not fall into that category of nose-strips.
These are gentler, and whilst they stick to the skin, they are easy to remove without pulling or tugging at the skin.
They are made with Hydrocolloid which have been infused with Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid, Vitamin C and Tea Tree. The Hydrocolloid draws out the impurities, and this allows the other active ingredients to penetrate and do their job.
You need to give at least 6 hours for these to work, so if I’m feeling like my nose is riddled with blackheads, I’ll simply apply one of these before bed and sleep with it on. The next morning, the blackheads are gone and my pores are dramatically minimised. As mentioned before, the strip is easy to remove and doesn’t tug or pull at the skin.
Though these have been designed to be used on the nose, you could also use this on other areas prone to blackheads, such as your forehead if you wanted to.
