Another month, another accounting of what has been finished and whether it deserves to come back.

😢 – Not for me
❤️ Trinny London Take Back Time Elixir*
Already repurchased, for the second time this year. I am not sure I can be more emphatic than that. It is a glow-giver in the truest sense of an overused phrase. Hydrating, plumping and genuinely effective. Skin looks brighter, less tired and more alive after a single use. One of the best serums I have used at any price point.
❤️ Kate Somerville HydraKate Recharging Water Cream*
This has quietly become a summer staple. The texture is featherlight but it hydrates properly, which is a combination that gel creams often promise and rarely deliver. It sinks in cleanly, layers without complaint under sunscreen, and never pills. Designed specifically for dehydrated skin, and it shows. I will be sad when the weather turns and I have to reach for something richer.
😍 Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance*
I reviewed this recently and my opinion has not shifted. If your skin is dry, sensitised or in need of something genuinely soothing and nourishing, this is a reliable choice. Not glamorous. Just very good.
Body Care

😍 Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Resurfacing Body Scrub
Another summer fixture. It combines physical, chemical and enzymatic exfoliation to address dry skin on shins, knees and elbows with real conviction. It also preps skin well before fake tan and removes it equally well at the end of its life. A hardworking product that earns its place every time.
Haircare

❤️ Kerastase Resistance Ciment Anti-Usure Conditioner
I have a long-standing loyalty to this range, and this conditioner is a significant part of why. It tackled dryness without heaviness, left no residue or coating behind, and made my hair feel softer, stronger and considerably more cooperative. I finished the conditioner well before the shampoo, as ever, which is a problem I have yet to solve.
