What is it?
A hydrating serum designed to hydrate and plump the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
What Do I Think?
They’ve formulated this with 2% Multi-Hyaluronic Acid, which acts a little bit like a sponge, attracting and holding large amounts of water in the skin. What I like about this serum is in addition to the Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Acid, you also get a peptide in the form of Matrixyl 3000, which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
I can totally understand the hype. The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a fantastic serum if your skin is feeling a little thirsty. My skin drinks it up and feels hydrated for the entire day. I often find Hyaluronic Acid serums can feel a little tacky or sticky on the skin, but that’s not the case with this. It simply soaks in and feels really nice and hydrating, and even leaves a nice dewy finish.
The texture is a watery-gel consistency and it plays really well when layering with other skincare products because I’ve experience no pilling.
A little tip to get the most from this serum would be to apply to damp skin. This can either be from having just washed your face and leaving the skin damp, or by applying a hydrating toner or mist. You can then apply this serum, and follow with a spritz from a hydrating mist and then your other serums or moisturiser.
Due to the very hydrating nature of this product, I do find it meets its claim. My skin looks and feels hydrated, and more plumper and bouncy.
Would I recommend?
Yes. If you’re on the look out for an affordable hydrating serum, then this is worth a try.
