I’ll be honest with you: I nearly didn’t bother. The packaging is relentlessly clinical, the sort of thing that looks more at home in a hospital or care home than on a bathroom shelf. In a world where brands pour enormous resources into making their products look covetable, something this aesthetically indifferent does tend to get passed over. If I’d have snubbed the Pharmaceris Dermo-Regenerating Soothing Face & Body Cream product based on looks, it would have been a mistake.
What is it?
A soothing and repairing cream designed for help sooth skin experiencing irritation, dryness and roughness.
What Do I Think?
What’s inside this unremarkable tube is a seriously well constructed cream for anyone whose skin sits at the more reactive, sensitive, or compromised end of the spectrum. This is the kind of formula that doesn’t bother with trends or glamour. It’s built purely around doing a specific job very well, and it does.
Phyto-diosgenin works to strengthen the skin barrier, improving the skin’s ability to defend itself against the internal and external triggers that sensitive types know all too well. For skin with micro-lesions, whether from a flare-up, a reaction, or a cosmetic procedure, colloidal silver helps manage inflammation and reduces the risk of bacterial infection, while sucralfate, more commonly associated with post-laser and aesthetic medicine recovery, soothes and actively regenerates distressed skin. It’s not a typical over-the-counter ingredient list, and that’s rather the point.
Hemp seed oil addresses dryness with vitamins A, D and E, helping skin retain moisture and relief from irritation. Natural olive and candelilla waxes give the formula its emollient quality, making it particularly effective on dry, flaky, reactive skin. And for those whose sensitive skin also means a disrupted microbiome, which is more common than people realise, probiotics help restore the balance of good bacteria that keeps skin functioning as it should.
The texture itself is comfortable and easygoing, and works equally well on face and body.

Would I recommend?
Absolutely. You could use it daily as a straightforward moisturiser for reactive skin, or keep it in reserve for when things go wrong. Either way, it earns its place. Don’t let the packaging put you off. Some of the best products have the worst packaging, and this is a case in point.
