Skincare

😍 Dermalogica Oil to Foam Cleanser*

I reviewed this recently and my enthusiasm has not dimmed. It starts as a golden gel-oil, transforms into a cloud-like foam with water, and leaves skin soft and clean without any dryness. A genuinely clever cleanser.

😢 Victoria Beckham Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturiser

I found this in Home Bargains for around £15, which is considerably more palatable than the full £140 price tag. This is my second tube, and on both occasions it has not offered enough moisture for my skin. Pleasant enough, but nowhere near sufficient justification for the original price.

❤️ Coola Classic Sunscreen Stick

Perfect for top-ups on days out. It goes on clear, doesn’t cake or grease the skin, and smells genuinely summery with a tropical coconut scent. Exactly what a sunscreen stick should be.

Body care

😍 Emma Hardie Moringa Luxury Body Scrub

A sugar scrub housed in oil, which is the right way to do it. It smells like a very good spa and leaves skin smooth and hydrated rather than just buffed. A proper treat.

😍 Jones Road Shower Gel

The packaging has had a refresh and I cannot be entirely certain the formula is identical, but it lathers well, cleans properly, leaves skin soft and smells uplifting and citrusy. Easy to love.

Haircare

😢 Kerastase Gloss Absolu Shampoo & Conditoner

Bought in travel size to road-test, which turned out to be the right call. Both left a filmy quality on my hair that I didn’t really like. Some people may not mind it, if the pay off is glossy locks which it most certainly delivers on. However, I prefer my hair to feel like hair and less plastic-y.
